Homes and restaurants in Taxco Postcards

Here's an awesome postcard from one of the photos I took on my trip to Taxco. It is a few of houses on the surrounding mountainside in their strict while-only look for the tourists who like the Spanish colonial style.
In this photo you see a restaurant rooftop outdoor seating area with patio tables and in the background many other buildings.

Grutas de la Estrella Cave Formation PICT0144A Mouse Pad

I went to Grutas de la Estrella (Star Caves) in the Estado de Mexico a few years ago with 3 friends.
It was a really great tour and the cave formations were beautiful. I'd recommend it to anyone who plans to visit Toluca or Taxco since it isn't very far by car. It would only be a day trip from Mexico City.

I went on an afternoon trip to the small city of Malinalco with some friends one day a few years ago, but since they were lazy and didn't want to get up until noon, we were only there for an hour before the archaeological zone closed at 4:30. Malinalco is near Toluca. Here is a view of part of the city from the second building above.

Taxco Cathedral Bell Towers Greeting Cards from Zazzle.com

I had a brief trip to Taxco a few years ago. We were only there a few hours, but it is a pretty city on a steep mountainside and it has a strict building code to keep its colonial look. Here is one of the photos I took of the bell towers of the Taxco Cathedral. It was a very nice day. The stones of the cathedral are somewhat pink.
